Insuring Public Entities
Coming this summer to Columbia & Greenville
This new advanced classroom seminar explores the specific needs of public entities and how to market the coverage.
- Property coverage topics that will be discussed are functional replacement cost, debris removal, blanket coverage, and ordinance or law. All of these issues can be different or specific to a public entity, depending on the particular risk.
- The special issues that apply to automobile coverage, such as high speed pursuit, catastrophic physical damage, and tort limit or immunity coverage will be explored.
- Liability coverage as regards general exposures as well as law enforcement exposures are much different than other policies. Most public entity policies are written on non-standard forms and the specific differences will be analyzed.
- Finally, the fidelity issues associated with public funds will also be discussed.
