New IIABSC Advanced Seminar Series

Featuring Insuring Contractor Exposures coming to Greenville this month

​​​Continuing our efforts to provide members with the very best in continuing education and professional development, IIABSC created the Advanced Seminar Series. Taught by top national instructors, they cover relevant topics on advanced issues.

First of the series, Insuring Contractor Exposures, will be held Feb. 18-19 in Greenville and later in Columbia this June. Other courses now open for registration include Commercial Lines Q&A and Commercial Lines Nuts & Bolts. View course descriptions below, and dates/registration links at right.

Insuring Contractor Exposures is part of our Advanced Seminar Series
Insuring Contractor Exposures course kicks off our 2015 Advanced Seminar Series, coming Feb. 18-19 to Greenville and then to Columbia June 17-18.


Insuring Contractor Exposures. This two-day program discusses important insurance issues that impact contractors and their insurance programs. The first day consists of general liability issues including additional insureds and contracts, property damage and work exclusions, completed operations, workers compensation, certificates of insurance and umbrellas. The second day consists of surety bonds, business auto, builders risk, installation floaters and insuring equipment. You can register for either or both days. 6 hrs. P&C credit each day.

Keep Calm & Carry On: Commercial Lines Q&A. This course examines a number of actual claims to start the conversation on typical situations that come up in agencies. Case studies include business auto, commercial property, general liability and business income coverages. Single-day course, 6 hrs. P&C credit.

Commercial Lines Nuts & Bolts. Two-day course on the basics of commercial lines insurance. First day covers commercial property forms/coverage, commercial property cause of loss forms and business income. Second day covers commercial general liability coverage forms, business auto coverage form and workers compensation. You can register for either or both days. 6 hrs. P&C credit each day.
