SCAM ALERT: We are not reimbursing members for gift card donations

We have recently been notified by members that they are receiving scam emails supposedly from our Chair of the Board soliciting gift card donations to worthy charitable causes with the assurance that he would reimburse any expenses.

THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT ENGAGE. While the “From line” does mimic our Chair, the actual email address is nowhere close.

We are also happy to confirm any donation solicitations that you receive from the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of South Carolina before you decide to contribute.
