ABOUT THE YA PROGRAM:
The IIABSC Young Agents Program is designed  to support the success of current and emerging agent leaders WITHIN the Sc insurance industry.

Our YA Program is led by our YA Committee comprised of industry innovators and thought leaders who are dedicated to engaging and developing our industry's future leadership.  Being a part of the SC Young Agents Network provides access to tools and resources that support the professional growth of our agents to help them thrive as trusted insurance advisors. Participation in YA activities provides valuable opportunities for peer-to-peer networking and connections with IIABSC Board of Directors, Palmetto Partners and key association leaders.

Any IIABSC member, age 40 or younger or with 5 or less years in the industry, automatically qualify for membership at no additional charge.

Contrary to what the name implies, you do not need to be a Young Agent to play. This annual fundraiser is open to anyone age 21 or older who wants to spend the afternoon playing a round of golf.

Proceeds from the tournament are used to support the Young Agent Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships for various insurance programs. Since 1993, the Young Agents Committee has raised more than $25,000 for the Scholarship Fund.

Learn more on our Young Agents Scholarship Golf event page.

For several years now the Young Agents Scholarship Golf tournament has been held at the Wildewood Country Club in Columbia, SC.

The Young Agents Conference is a relaxed, annual event focused entirely on Young Agents. It is a great opportunity to develop your career while spending a fun weekend with the family or as a relaxing getaway alone.

CE credit is offered for most learning sessions, which are especially targeted to Young Agents' needs and interests. Additional activities are for the entire family.

Learn more on our Young Agents Conference event page.
