Bulletin explains recent legislative changes affecting liquor liability/ general liability coverages

As explained in our recent legislative session recap, bill S.116 (which is now law) requires all establishments that serve alcoholic beverages for onsite consumption to carry a minimum of $1 million in liability insurance.

Effective July 1, the SCDOI recently released Bulletin 2017-04 explaining the specific changes as they apply, including required notification to SCDOR in the event of lapsed or terminated coverage.
