InsurAcademy is a live virtual training program for anyone seeking employment in an independent insurance agency OR for newly hired agency employees. This comprehensive program will license and train your new hires into "job ready" customer service representatives.
The training is in two phases: Phase 1 is the pre-licensing study, followed by each student taking the state licensing exam. Phase 2 training immerses the student in a comprehensive curriculum study that includes:
- Business and professional skills
- E&O training
- Compliance and Regulatory training
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training
- Agency Workflows
- Client relationship building/sales skills
- Agency Technology and rating
- Ethics
- Flood
- Claims Processing
- Forms training
- The role of a CSR/Account Manager
The training is provided in half-day increments - 8:30 am - 12:30 pm Monday-Friday. Class size is kept small so that students feel comfortable in their group and instructors can provide personalized training. The faculty brings over 200+ years of experience as both insurance agents and trainers.
Cost for Big I members to send your new hire to InsurAcademy is only $1,350. This includes all pre-licensing material, instruction and study sessions as well as all of the InsurAcademy Phase 2 skills training. (cost of licensing exam, fingerprinting and license application is not included)
