Attendees of these seminars will automatically be re-enrolled on the new dates, but of course you may request a full refund in writing and cancel your registration for any reason if the new date does not work for you.

 


The SCDOI has granted all producers with a compliance deadline in March, April, May and June an additional 90 days to complete their CE requirements.   

The National Alliance has granted an automatic extension until Sept. 30 for all their designees (CIC, CISR, CISR Elite, CRM) with updates  between March-June.

TRUSTED CHOICE Stronger Together Campaign

Trusted Choice recently launched a new customizable campaign, "Stronger Together." Developed with the current environment in mind, this campaign emphasizes that independent agents are here to serve clients no matter what tomorrow brings and also highlights the value points of working with an independent agent. Agents can find all of the customizable marketing materials for "Stronger Together" including social, display, video, and print ads in the recently improved Made-for-You section of the Trusted Choice agents resource center.

Trusted Choice COVID-19 Relief Fund

Progressive Insurance company has provided $2 million (and Foremost, Bristol West have since contributed $500,000) in funding to establish the Trusted Choice COVID-19 Relief Fund founded to provide relief to Big I member agencies, agents and agency employees who are experiencing economic strain and hardship due to COVID-19. They intend to start awards to hot-spot states and areas with the most need, but this program is open to all agencies. Bulletin 2020-3 discusses licensing during COVID-19 crisis
The SCDOI has granted all producers with a compliance deadline in March, April, May and June an additional 90 days to complete their CE requirements.  They have also extended surplus lines broker license renewal deadline by 90 days, now due Aug. 31.  Bulletin also discusses temporary licensing without fingerprinting requirements and online testing.

Bulletin 2020-02 encourages industry to work with consumers
Director and SCDOI are expecting the insurance industry to “do the right thing” for insurance consumers. This action could include extending cancellation and non-renewal deadlines or extending premium payment deadlines among a number of other areas where consumers may request help. If agents encounter situations where this bulletin is not being followed, please share with IIABSC President Frank Sheppard.
