HOTEL INFORMATION:

IIABSC has a room block for our registered conference attendees at the Cambria (1000 Lady Street- Columbia, SC 29201). 

IIABSC's discounted room block rate is $169.00+  state and local taxes per night. Self-parking for overnight guests of the hotel is $9 per night. 

Rates will expire once all rooms have been filled or on February 20.

IMPORTANT: 

• Guests are not permitted to hold multiple rooms under the same name. For each guest room reservation, you MUST have a corresponding conference registration with IIABSC or your reservation is subject to being dropped from our block.

• You must be registered for the conference to reserve your hotel room.

• Instructions for reserving your room will be included in your *automatic* registration confirmation email that you will receive after submitting your online registration.
  
• The IIABSC group rate will be offered 3 days before and after the event based on hotel availability for those who wish to extend their stay.
  
• Suites are not available at a group rate and must be reserved on your own if you are interested in that option.

 IIABSC reserves the right to drop you from our room block if you have a sleeping room but are not registered. 

Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center Parking Info
Venue address is 1101 Lincoln St., Columbia, SC  29201. Their parking lot is adjacent to the facility with 260 complimentary, first come, first served parking spots. In the case that the CMCC lot fills up, the city-owned Park Street Garage is located directly across the street from the facility and is $2 for the first hour and $1 for every hour after that up to $10 for the day.

Name Badges
Name badges are color-coded to help attendees recognize each others affiliation. First-time attendees will also have a ribbon on their name badges.

RED: Agents 
BLUE: Company Reps, Exhibitors, Sponsors
YELLOW: Spouses, Special Guests, Speakers
GREEN: Nonmembers

CE Session Door Prizes
Door prizes are for agency attendees only. Tickets are in your name badge holder. Please place them in the box at the entrance to the meeting room. Drawings will be held at the end of each session. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!

Exhibitor Prizes
Exhibitors have the option to give out their own prizes during Exhibit hall hours on Wednesday. Exhibitors should post winning names or business cards on a board that will be available in the exhibit hall. Agents will be instructed to check the board and all prize winners should be posted  on the board provided in the exhibit hall by 5:00 pm. Agents should see vendors in their booths to claim prizes.

Agents Passport Drawing
The Agent’s Passport Drawing prize is $500 cash.  Agents must visit vendors and complete drawing form as instructed. Drawing forms are available at the onsite check-in desk where you pick up your namebadge. Place the completed form in the Agent’s Drawing box located at the front of the exhibit hall by 5:00 pm. The winner will be announced during Exhibitor Appreciation Reception.  YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!!

Agent Exhibit-Hall Prize Drawings
Agents have many opportunities to take home one of several great prizes in the exhibit hall. Drawing winners will be announced throughout.  YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!!

InsurPac drawing
Contribute $20 or more to InsurPac onsite at their booth and be entered to win a two-night stay at the Westin in Savannah, Ga. Winners are not limited to agents. YOU DO NOT need to be present to win.

Evaluation survey
An attendee survey to give us your feedback and help improve future events will be emailed to attendees after the event. Complete the survey and submit your name and organization and be entered in a drawing for a free Spring Conference registration for you and a guest to next year's event.
