Beginning in May, all CISR exams for those seeking the CISR designation will be given online. This new requirement includes exams for the live IN-PERSON CISR seminars conducted by IIABSC, which previously had a paper exam at the end. 

How online testing works is participants will take their online exam during the “exam window,” opening at 5:00 pm on the day of the class and ending at midnight the Thursday of the week AFTER the class. The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, and the participant has one hour to complete it. 

The online exam does require a proctor. The proctor must be a disinterested third-party, and specific instructions on who can proctor and what is required is sent to the participant prior to class. The CISR exam is only required if seeking the CISR designation and is NOT required for CE credit.
