IIABSC Education Update

Introducing LIVE CIC webinar series

Earlier this year, IIABSC introduced CIC LIVE two-day webinars so members could continue their pursuit of a CIC designation (or get updates) without having to attend an in-person classroom or an extended series of webinars.

Our CIC Live two-day webinars function just like a classroom CIC except the participant is at their computer. NO TEST is required for CE or for your CIC update.

If you are working toward your CIC designation, you test online the week following the virtual institute. It is very important that you register for these Live two-day webinars via the IIABSC WEBSITE rather than the National Alliance website.  They are a different series.

Two CIC Live two-day webinars have recently been added to our online ed calendar: CIC Commercial Casualty – Dec. 1 & 2 and CIC Commercial Multiline – Feb. 17 & 18.

July Update Video by IIABSC Vice President Becky McCormack

IIABSC Vice President Becky McCormack provides members with a few quick updates regarding IIABSC education offerings. Among topics covered is:

  • SCDOI does not expect to be giving anymore CE extensions

  • PLEASE REGISTER EARLY for CE sessions you are interested in. We are waiving our standard cancellation policy, and you can even choose to pay by invoice. If by a certain amount of time not enough people are reigstered, we will cancel a class. Class seating is also limited due to social distancing so you will want to register early to guarantee your seat.

  • If you are not comfortable taking a classroom course in person we have many options for you, even ones that differ from National Alliance offerings.
