IIABSC is now accepting applications to InsurAcademy, our new virtual insurance training program, which runs from Oct. 12 - Nov. 16.  The six-week program offers comprehensive virtual training and licensing to anyone interested in starting a career in the insurance industry.  Participants will be ready to work upon completion of the program, and career services will also be available. Thanks to the support of the IIABSC Foundation, InsurAcademy is tuition-free for accepted students.

Developed by the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina, the InsurAcademy curriculum is broken into two stages: licensing preparation and vocational training.

Participants learn what it is like to be a Customer Service Representative while earning the necessary licenses to get started on day one. Experienced instructors will teach all the components virtually, giving students the flexibility to make a career change from any location in the state. Upon completion of the program, graduates will have access to career services, including an online job board and help with job placement across various insurance agencies in South Carolina.

And, thanks to the support of the IIABSC Foundation, InsurAcademy is tuition-free for accepted students—a $1,500 value. Participants are only required to pay the direct expenses related to the licensing application, fingerprint, and exam fees but will qualify for exam fee reimbursement following passage.
