Recent study explores what insurance talent wants in a job
Flexible hours, community involvement, family leave & job stability top the list of must-have benefits
Finding and recruiting talent remains the biggest agency management challenge for the majority of independent insurance agencies, and yet the U.S. job market is shifting because of economic uncertainty and large-scale layoffs. These recent changes with larger employers could be an opportunity for independent agencies. While surveying independent agencies for the 2023 Agency Growth Study, the research team at Liberty Mutual asked agency employees about characteristics of an ideal employment situation. Flexible hours, community involvement, family leave and job stability topped the list. Offering these benefits could increase employee engagement and job satisfaction.
